Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was a student at her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. She lived off of a student allowance and took off on a part-time job to supplement her funds. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other options she could pursue. Lennox performed flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. But she quit before her band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. She was the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. As part of this group, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they will create the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox went on to release her first solo album Diva. It was released in the year 1992. The album had a tremendous success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954, in Scotland is a philanthropist and political activist. She sings. The latter part of the 70s was when she gained a little fame when part in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career with the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful songs includingWhy andWalking in Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of tracks.
